the 2021 reading list.
When I was younger, I always got awards in class for reading numerous books in a week. You know the sticker charts you had at primary school?
I love a sticker chart and I’m also highly competitive , so I used to sneak read when I was supposed to be asleep. Under my pillow was the hiding spot .. Mum and Dad always knew , but hey I thought I was pretty sneaky.
Over the years, my love for reading declined, I think the compulsory uni readings may have had something to do with it. Netflix became the new reading.
2021, I decided to take action. I love books and continually learning, and believe it is so important to nourish our minds .
I set a goal of a book a month, and also found and fell in love with audible. There’s nothing quite like a hard cover book, so I do a combination of both
